Terms and Conditions

  1. Payment must be made at time of booking.
  2. Refunds will only be made for sessions cancelled with 72 hours notice. For classes this is 72 hours before the 1st session.
  3. A cancellation fee of £5 will be charged for any refunds.
  4. When booking a 1-1 session package payment must be made for all sessions at the start. Each session must be taken within 6 weeks of the previous session.
  5. If a class has to be cancelled due to circumstances outside of Clover Canines control (such as weather or venue problems) an alternative date will be provided when possible however this may not be at the original venue or at the original time.
  6. Clover Canines uses a force free approach to training. Harsh handling or aversive methods must not be used during your sessions.
  7. Dogs must attend wearing a correctly fitting harness or flat collar, and standard lead. Slipleads and extendable leads are not permitted in class.
  8. It is the clients responsibility to provide information about their dog which may affect the safety of themselves or others.
  9. Clients are responsible for their own dogs and must follow the directions from the trainer, including maintaining space from other dogs.
  10. Children are welcome to attend the sessions (including classes) however they must be accompanied by someone over the age of 18. The client is responsible for their childrens behaviour and safety at all times.
  11. In group classes please do not interact with another clients dog (or allow your dog to interact) without asking them first and respect their answer if they say no.
  12. Dogs must be kept on lead unless instructed otherwise.
  13. All client information is kept confidential and will only be used for the trainer to make contact with the client for relevant reasons.
  14. Dogs attending classes must not be overly reactive towards other dogs and comfortable in a class environment. Please contact Clover Canines if you have concerns over your dogs suitability.
  15. Dogs must not attend class if they have had diarrhoea or vomiting in the 48 hours prior to class, and must remain off until fully better.
  16. No dogs showing signs of contagious disease must attend class.
  17. Bitches in season must not attend class.
  18. If your dog is struggling to focus in class alternative arrangements may need to be made at the discretion of the trainer. This may involve use of barriers or recommendation for 1-1 sessions rather than a group situation.
  19. If a dog needs to drop out of class due to illness or finding the environment too much the following will be offered in replacement:
    1. Up to, and including, week 3 having taken place two 1-1 sessions will be offered.
    1. From week 4 onwards one 1-1 session will be offered

These are only by prior arrangement from Clover Canines in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Additional Covid T+Cs

  1. Current government guidelines must be followed regarding self-isolation.
  2. In the event of the client or trainer needing to self isolate the session can either be rearranged for after the isolation period or moved to an online session.
  3. Social distancing must be maintained during the session. Clients may request the use of face masks.
