About

Jo Forbes

Force free dog trainer

I have worked with a variety of dogs and people throughout my 10 years in rescue. During this time I have continued to learn and have recently completed my FdSc in Applied Canine Behaviour and Training and am now studying for a Bsc in Canine Behaviour Management. I am also a PACT-KSA, a registered Animal Training Instructor through the ABTC and a Pet Professional Guild member. These qualifications mean that I have the knowledge and skills to get the best from you and your dog.

I own 2 dogs of my own and have fostered a wide range of breeds over the years, many with behavioural or training needs.

I believe dogs should always be trained in a way which is fun for them and their owners, I use a mix of treats, toys and praise whilst training. As dogs and people are all individuals I am able to adapt my teaching to ensure everyone gets the most out of their session.
